Lux Cowork is designed for established beauty, medical aesthetics and wellness professionals who value a premium client experience. Our community includes hairstylists, nurse injectors, advanced estheticians, chiropractors, tattoo artists, IV therapy providers, laser clinics, nail technicians and other appointment-based businesses.

Every business operates from its own private, locking studio, giving you complete independence while enjoying the benefits of a premium shared environment. 

At our new location we will be offering a select number of Beauty Bar Chair Rentals. These Hair Stylist chair rentals will be open concept each with their own lockable spaces.

No two businesses are the same, so neither are our studios. Whether you’re launching your first independent business or expanding an established practice, we offer a variety of thoughtfully designed spaces to suit your needs.

• Micro Suites - Our most affordable option. Perfect for professionals who don’t require plumbing or large treatment spaces but still want a polished, private environment.

• Retreat Suites & Studios - Quiet, calming studios designed for wellness-focused services where relaxation is part of the experience.

• Suites - Spacious private studios with plumbing, ideal for estheticians, nail technicians, nurse injectors, tattoo artists and many other appointment-based businesses.

• Studios - Larger spaces with additional room to grow, perfect for hair stylists, medical aesthetics, dual workstations or businesses planning to expand.

• Coming Soon (Aug 2026) - Signature Storefront Studios - Premium flagship spaces featuring private storefront exposure and exceptional visibility for businesses ready to make a statement. These spaces are over 500 SF for growing businesses with staff or multiple services.

• Coming Soon: Beauty Bar (Sept 2026) - Luxury open-concept styling stations for independent hairstylists who want the flexibility of chair rental while enjoying the elevated Lux experience.

We ask for a minimum one-year commitment - because great things (like thriving businesses and perfect balayage) take time. Absolutely! Your studio is your empire. Feel free to bring in your aesthetic - paint, shelving, décor - make it yours. Just keep it classy (and landlord-approved)

All of our prices listed are based on non-furnished suites & studios. 

We are able to offer furnishings and installation at an additional cost. Connect with us and we can discuss a custom solution!

Of course! Our team includes an interior designer, contractor and carpenter. We also have a site approved plumber and electrician.

Absolutely. Many of our members grow with us. As larger studios become available, we’ll work with you to find a space that supports your next stage of growth.

Look for rooms called Studio - these are larger rooms which may be suitable for multiple practitioners or growing businesses. If you’re considering sharing a space, we’d be happy to discuss the options available.

Absolutely. Many of our members began as solo practitioners and expand over time. Several of our larger studios can accommodate employees, additional treatment stations or business partners. We feel successful when our Lux Tenants are successful!

Private suites currently start at $600 per month, with pricing based on suite size, layout, plumbing, windows and other features. Browse our Available Suites page or contact us to discuss current availability.

Lux Cowork offers the following discounts:

Your clients have enough to think about before their appointment. Hunting for parking shouldn’t be one of them.

Lux offers complimentary parking for both members and clients, just steps from the entrance.

Yes. The building features elevator access, accessible entrances, and barrier free bathrooms, making visits comfortable for clients of all ages and abilities.

You bet we do! Not only that, use of our laundry facilities are already included in our fees. Just bring your own detergent and you are all set!

Absolutely. Our 3 elegant waiting areas were designed to create a calm, professional first impression from the moment your clients arrive.

Yes. Members may receive business mail at Lux, subject to their lease agreement. We do not offer mail services for non-tenants.

Some do, some don’t. Most studios are pre-plumbed, so if you need a sink, we’ll help you coordinate so you get the right type of sink, in the right room to do what you do best. And yes - there’s 4 shared kitchen spaces for all your washing-up needs.

Each studio is private and lockable - aka, your own personal glam cave. Need extra space? We can chat about storage options to fit your needs.

Nope, we’ve got that covered - well, at least the boring parts. Our professional cleaners keep the common areas sparkling, from the washrooms to the kitchens and hallways. You just need to tidy up your own private space - because while we handle the heavy lifting, we draw the line at folding your laundry.

Clients are welcomed through our main entrance and guided by clear signage, virtual check-in and suite directories. We also provide an online business directory to help new clients find you before they arrive.

Yes. Every Lux member can be featured in our online business directory, making it easy for clients to discover your services and connect directly with you.

Each business operates independently, so your booking system is entirely your choice. Most members offer online booking through their own website or scheduling platform, and we’ll happily link to it from our directory.

1 - Lux is beautiful and elegant - your clients are paying for the premium services you provide, Lux completes the experience with a premium environment! 

2 - Love the provide rooms! It could be because they love to spill the tea or because they crave private relaxation - regardless, getting any service in your own private space always feels like star treatment!

We will soon be releasing 5 new Retreat Studios perfect for medical professionals - larger rooms in a quieter, private area while still having access to all the other Lux amenities.

Every regulated business is required to maintain the appropriate licences, permits and Alberta Health Services compliance, helping ensure Lux remains a place where both professionals and clients can feel confident.

Yes. Many of our studios are an excellent fit for medical aesthetics providers, nurse injectors, IV therapy clinics and other regulated health and wellness businesses, provided all licensing requirements are met.

Absolutely. We welcome professional tattoo artists who meet all applicable health and regulatory requirements.

Our goal is to build a complementary community of businesses that share our values and provide an exceptional client experience. While we welcome many beauty, medical aesthetics and wellness professions, businesses that conflict with our existing community, building regulations or applicable health requirements may not be a fit.

Lux is incredibly honored to work alongside so many talented professionals. A couple of the Lux Cowork success stories:

1. YEG Esthetics Skin Studio  - Julia is an amazing professional who moved to Lux from a cowork space in downtown Edmonton. Originally renting one Studio at Lux and later adding an additional Suite when she hired her first staff member. She has now opened their own dedicated space in Sherwood Park called The Formula with additional staff and services. We are incredibly proud to have been part of her growth and journey!

2. The Nailbox - Erin was our first tenant! She originally was in Suite 105 and later added Suite 107. When we expanded in 2024, Erin moved to two larger Suites on the new side and now has increased to four and four staff! We have been so blessed to have Erin (and her team) be part of our space - she has referred many lovely other tenants into the space. Erin now offers mentorship and training to other professionals in the industry.

3. Babyface Boutique - Leah is a Registered Nurse with experience in Neurosurgery Trauma and Women's Health. Lux was lucky to have her join as a tenant when she transitioned to Aesthetic Nursing offering fillers. Since Leah has expanded her service offerings which involved moving to a larger suite and adding a second suite. She now also offers chemical peels, medical grade skin care, chemical peels, microneedling and laser treatments such as Forma and IPL.

We’re located in Sherwood Park, just minutes from Anthony Henday Drive, making Lux easily accessible for clients throughout Sherwood Park, southeast Edmonton, Strathcona County, Fort Saskatchewan and Beaumont - because your business deserves a prime location with easy access, free parking, and zero downtown headaches.

If your industry and type of services are mandated to require a permit by Alberta Health Services, it is a requirement to have all required licensing, insurance, inspections and permits required by the province and health authorities.
